On 27 June 2019, ALQST co-sponsored a side event at the 41st session of the Human Rights Council on justice for Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, featuring Agnes Callamard, (UN special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions), David Kaye (UN special rapporteur on freedom of expression and opinion), and Yahya Assiri: (Founder of ALQST)
