With the Saudi authorities weaponising the internet as a tool of surveillance and propaganda, it is increasingly difficult for users to stay safe online. ALQST's Digital Rights Unit aims to provide digital tools, support and signposting for users inside and outside Saudi Arabia, including a series of leaflets that offer key digital hygiene tips. It will also carry out monitoring, advocacy and campaigns to protect human rights and freedoms in the digital age.
